Privacy policy

We take your privacy seriously. This page explains exactly what data we collect, why, and who we share it with.

Last updated: 9 May 2026

  1. 01What we collect

When you visit iData, we collect the same things any web server logs: IP address, user agent, the URLs you visit, and timestamps. If you create an account, we additionally store your email, username, and a hashed password. If you save dashboards or post comments, we store those records linked to your account.

  2. 02What we don't collect

We don't collect personal data beyond what's listed above. We don't run ad tracking. We don't sell, rent, or share data with third parties for advertising. We don't deploy fingerprinting or cross-site tracking scripts.

  3. 03Cookies

We use a small set of cookies / localStorage entries to remember your language preference, theme (light/dark), and to keep you signed in if you have an account. None of them carry advertising or tracking data.

  4. 04Analytics

We track aggregate page views and dashboard views to improve the site. The data is anonymised at collection — no per-user behavioural profiles are built.

  5. 05Your rights

You can request a copy of any account data we hold, or ask us to delete your account permanently. Email contact@kapita.iq for either request — we respond within 30 days.

  6. 06Data publishing

iData publishes Iraqi government and public statistics. The data we display about Iraq's economy, demographics, and sectors comes from public sources. None of this is your personal data.

  7. 07Changes to this policy

When this policy changes materially, we update the date below and (for accountholders) email a summary of the change. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance.
